The ACLU has filed suit in Boston to protect teenagers from being unwittingly indoctrinated with Christianity when they participate in a chastity program. Students participating in the "Silver Ring Thing" may choose either a religious-based or secular discussion group as part of the program. The ACLU maintains the kids are being pressured because the secular kids have to leave to go to another room. (So if they just trade rooms will the ACLU shut up?) Has anyone noticed how weak you have to be to for the ACLU to consider you empowered?
