Receiving scant attention today is the blazing hot flame Italy's culture of death referendum went down in yesterday. B16 & the Italian bishops called for a boycott and got one -- fewer than 26% of voters turned out (to pass, the referendum needed a turnout of 50% plus one). Current Italian law bans embryo research and freezing & bans sperm and egg donations, among other measures. The referendum would have overturned the law.
