I really, really don't want to, but an Amy Welborn reader thinks it might be about Walker Percy's Thanatos Syndrome (a novel I love) in some way. Several years ago I attended a family reunion in Prattville, AL for a branch of my maternal grandmother's family, and was delighted to find Walker Percy is a distant cousin. Actually, there are three Walker Percies (Walkers Percy?) in our bloodline, bully for us. Never met any of 'em. Anyway, it seems the movie poster evokes the cover of the novel and the main characters are all Walkers & Percies. Hmm. Then again, maybe I'll just re-read Thanatos, and its prequel, Love in the Ruins.
