Act One in the Post & Elsewhere

|
This RNS piece ran in this morning's WaPo. It's not terrible, although reporters --even religion reporters-- don't seem to get what Barbara Nicolosi's up to. Even when she flat-out tells them. Does Barb say Hollywood is a vast wasteland in need of baptism? She does not; she says her project is to heal the Church more than Hollywood. Her pet peeve is Christians who think people should see their movies because they are Christians, even if the movies stink. She thinks Christians should become patrons of the arts again. Does that stop reporters from making it seem she and Act One are basically out to make a bunch of didactic prayer-flicks the likes of Left Behind? It does not. Check out her website for a better sense of what they're up to.
Sigh. Oh well, at least they're noticing.
