Touch and go there for awhile, but the Iraqi Constitution has been approved. It would have been defeated had it lost by 2/3 in any three provinces. Two majority Sunni provinces rejected it by huge margins (80, 90 per cent). Which meant the whole thing rested on Ninevah --yes, the city saved by the preaching of Jonah.
