(I just like the title of that blog so much, I'm going to say it a few more times. Babalublog. Babalublog.)
It's where you can go to get updates on the little skirmish going on between the U.S. diplomatic mission and The Big Cigar himself. Heard about this? We (U.S.) put up a news ticker, including breaking stories and inspirational quotations from Lincoln, Lech Walesa and the like. Crowds were gathering, and you know how El Cigarron feels about his people reading uncensored news. So he's building a wall to block the ticker. A BIG wall.

Radio Free Europe and Voice of America were a shot in the arm for folks behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War, but the decision was made a few years ago to just broadcast rock music to the Middle East. As if freedom-loving Iranian young people are as shallow as American high school students. So I'm glad to see that in some parts of the world our diplomatic services still have spunk.
