"Miss" might not quite be the right word, since I love Benedict, and wouldn't want to trade back, as the kids say. Remember with tremendous love and affection, then? It's funny, in spite of all the remembrances in the Catholic press, today's anniversary of his death wasn't really on my mind this morning until our pastor stumbled over "and our Holy Father, Juh- Benedict" -- for the first time in months. That brought a tear to my eye unlooked-for.The Vatican site has a remembrance page up with photos and texts.
100,000 people gathered for the anniversary today. Zenit has lots of good stuff up, including Benedict's remarks at the precise moment of JP G's death, and his Angelus message --both of which well worth reading (and short, if you need the encouragement). Plus other things, so go there and noodle around.
