Limbaugh coined the wonderful term "drive-by media" to describe the sorry state of today's MSM. Especially during election years, our side can fall prey to the same syndrome. To wit, the generous provision for legal immigrants called for in the Senate bill had all the talk-show hosts ranting yesterday (to my dismay). Turns out, the provision had already been amended by the time they were on the air bloviating. Hysteria is not going to lead to good decisions, folks.
UPDATE: See what I mean? Now illegals are responsible for American obesity, too. (Note to my humor-impaired correspondents: yes, I know it's a joke --one that illustrates my point).
UPDATE II: I don't cotton to everything this guy says about immigration, and certainly not what he says about Conservatives; but I concur in his view of Bush. Curtsy to the Anchoress, who has some good ideas and a round-up of her own. J-Pod's with me.
