Goodness, but everyone tries so hard! Maybe He’s Just Not That Into You? And apparently he's not that into you, but thinks he should be. Poor kids! They do not expect mutual respect or privacy, let alone love and trust. No wonder there's so much performance anxiety on campus!

RC2 adds that her Shrink friends agree that this is an increasing problem for young men --and connect it anecdotally (based on what their clients tell them) to the widespread use of porn. So this might be a good time to invoke John Wayne, who understood inuitively: "sex isn't something you watch, it's something you do."
