I was going to ignore Andrew Sullivan's "anti-Christianist" rant in Time. Hugh Hewitt fisked it rather nicely at his place, and ninme did so as well, so my efforts seemed supernumerary. But one comment I made at her place was such a hit with her readers I thought I'd pass it along here. Namely, that Sullivan works way too hard to say what St. Augustine said long ago.
Lord, give me chastity. . . but not yet.
