Cue The Police Soundtrack

Strangely, just a day or two ago I remembered a conversation I had with a co-worker about Fr. George Stallings when he first announced he was breaking away from the Catholic Church. I was wondering whatever happened to him, and lo, he pops up as the host for Archbishop Milingo, who's been missing for a week and turned up in my hometown to denounce celibacy and apparently start a new Catholic/Moonie hybrid religion. Ordinarily I don't like to take personal potshots at people here, but I can't help thinking Don Jim is right:

if I were an activist pushing for optional celibacy, the last two people I would want as my poster boys would probably be George Stallings and Emmanuel Milingo.
