Tangled Webs

I think the Human Rights Campaign is like the old Hollywood system --arranging marriages and divorces for the studio's ends (actually, I think that system must still be in place; star personal lives just magically come to the fore when they have movies to promote?). The nation's first lesbian "divorce" is complicated because the couple "married" in MA but filed for divorce in RI. So does RI have jurisdiction? If it does, it's recognizing same-sex marriage through the back door. Which I'm certain is the point.
