You're Allowed To Vote If You Make It To The Polls Alive

Gun control trumps the right to vote seems to be the logic of the Dems' move to scuttle their own bill granting DC voting rights. Because the Reps added a measure to repeal gun control in the city on 2nd amendment grounds. I never understand what good anyone thinks the other rights are without the right to life? And the right to defend same?
