I'm not enthusiastic about the great immigration compromise, but it does not strike me as a sign of the Apocalypse. I'm preliminarily inclined to agree with the Capt., who's grateful we didn't get something much, much worse. This site's keeping track of the provisions as reported and as they become known, but so far it seems like a weak step in the right direction.
Update: More lack of enthusiasm without panic.
