Time To Change Your T-Shirt

Besides sending 100,000 people to their deaths, Che Guevara single-handedly destroyed the Cuban economy:

The Soviet Union poured the equivalent of eight Marshall Plans into Cuba. Think about it: One Marshall Plan, $9 billion, sent to war-raved Europe with 300 million people, and it worked. Eight of these plans, $72 billion, sent to Cuba, a country of 6.5 million people, who formerly had a better per capita income than half of Europe, and the place is poorer than Haiti today. That defies not just the laws of economics but also the laws of physics.
So Castro, on Soviet orders, had him killed. If they really want to kill the t-shirt franchise, they should sell Che t-shirts adorned with Che quotations and stats. Instead of Viva la revolucion, some options:
  • "the black is indolent and lazy."
  • "Evidence is an archaic bourgeois detail. We manufacture evidence. We execute from revolutionary conviction."
  • I killed 100,000 people.
  • My gulag has tortured 500,000 people.
