Banned In Washington

This (click to enlarge) is one of the two Opus cartoons pulled by the Fatwa Fearers in our dear local paper of record. Strikes me as exceedingly mild -- and could have been done about many strains of Christianity as well (minus the hidden face). I don't believe in running deliberately hateful digs at people just because you can --but is this hateful? Or even a dig? Seems to me the humor comes from the juxtaposition of beliefs, not from malice, no? Tom Toles, the Post's official editorial cartoonist is far more vicious on any given day of the week. Haven't seen the second banned strip, although I understand it's available here. But it's good to know what the Post thinks is worth censoring.
