Orr fought a D.C. Council bill requiring all employers to cover contraception -- with no exception for those, such as the Catholic Church, that have religious objections. I agree that a "conscience clause" should have been included, but Orr's opposition was disturbingly vitriolic.
Not the way WaPo would have said it? Off with her head! Columnist also doesn't seem to know life is different in Nigeria & Uganda than it is in the US. The policy suits the place.
- Silly Senator: Harry Reid says wildfires in CA caused by global warming. Then he tries to say he didn't say it, but he's caught on tape.
- Silly People: Everyone knows the real cause of the fires is Bush. Says the woman who wasn't mugged.
