Things Conservatives Should Do

...besides figure out who to nominate for President:

• Immediately capitalize on the new cell re-programming technology to get Rudy, Romney, McCain and all the other GOP candidates to withdraw their support for federally-funded embryonic stem-cell research. If Rudy G. wants to be president, it would be a really smart way to woo social conservatives for him to send out a press release right away.
  Ditto Romney. Update: Oo, so close.
  
• Quietly get a group of investors together to buy the Washington Post when it, inevitably, fails --as circulation continues to decline. (Ever read the comments left on the WaPo site? Apparently such readers as remain are heavily anti-Semitic and conspiracy-theory prone.) Hire some journalists and go to town.
