Bush & Benedict, Together Again

Instead of receiving him in the Pontifical library, as usually happens with heads of state, Benedict XVI will welcome the President and First Lady in the St. John Tower in the Vatican Gardens. They will then have private talks on the tower’s upper floor.
They get to walk in the Vatican Gardens after, too.
Papal spokesman Fr. Federico Lombardi said the special arrangements are in recognition of the extraordinary welcome the Pope received in April at the U.N. and at the White House.
