Death As Patriotic Duty

American Digest has a blistering post on the increasing similarities between Britain's National Health Service and Nazi "medicine." RTWT, but, alas, when people believe in Bushitler and think resisting sharia constitutes fascism, I despair of the complaint cutting any ice or sending the necessary chills of outrage down anyone's spine.

Anyway, in the latest iteration of the phenomenon I call "ever again" (in practice, the "N" is silent), one Baroness Warnock, a medical ethicist, says:
If you're demented, you're wasting people's lives – your family's lives – and you're wasting the resources of the National Health Service.
And if we think that attitude is demented...?

Vanderleun quotes one Orrin Judd observing pithily:
ever notice how "medical ethics" is nothing more than justifying murder?

Contrast that with this --the tale of a local paterfamilias (I know one of his daughters-in-law somewhat) who died to save his son with Down Syndrome.
