Have to agree with this assessment, even though the timing (of the video) is off. He has a wonderful deadpan approach and this is pretty good as a summary of conservatism. He boils it down to five principles:
- Our liberty is from God not the government
- Our sovereignty is in our souls not the soil
- Security is through strength not surrender
- Our prosperity is from the private sector, not the public sector
- And our truths are self-evident, not relative.
