C'est Ridiculouse

Shouting at your spouse is to be made illegal in France.
It is expected to cover every kind of slur from repeated rude remarks about a partner's appearance, false allegations of infidelity and threats of physical violence.
The French are banning rudeness? How could they even tell?

Seriously, I do not know, but I suspect this is a bit like our nation's responding to terrorism by allowing the TSA to tyrannize regular citizens. All kinds of crimes against women in the burgeoning Muslim ghettos of Paris, to which we respond by telling everyone else not to yell. Somehow, I don't see this stopping honor killings.

Curtsy: Julie Ponzi, who notes demographic implications as well.
