A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to meet Artur Davis (former Alabama congressman and Obama 2008 co-chair) at a Ryan rally. Nothing special, just chatted him up a bit after the event. Just the day before he'd given an interview on local radio and I told him I appreciated the fact that he side-stepped the Talk Radio cheap shots the host tried to get him to indulge in and just made arguments. I posted about his reasons for switching parties a while ago. Here is his speech last night in Tampa.
