Here's the 2007 Obama speech people are talking about. Draw your own conclusions. My biggest question is why Democrats think they can only speak to black people in this voice (Hillary, Biden) ?

No, that's my 2nd biggest question. My overall reaction is how even then he was arguing against himself. It's a lying, race-baiting speech, and then he also decries dividing rich from poor and white from black.

No, actually that's not my biggest question either. A running refrain through the speech is that our God is big enough for that. In the context of the speech, who is God? Because he seems to be government. Every time he spells out a government action he wants, he chimes in, "Our God is big enough for that."
