It's the feast of the Chair of St. Peter, recalling the moment of St. Peter's confession, "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God" and Christ's response, "You are Peter, and on this rock will I build my Church." Catholic Encyclopedia, however, has an article explaining that the original feast actually celebrated a chair.
