Turning Back Time

The poor Burmese, pray for them. In ninme's informative post on the subject of a growing international clamor (even Time magazine is urging it) for invasion of Burma as humanitarian intervention, we find Mark Steyn cautioning:
I’d be reluctant to send the boys into Rangoon on the say so of Time magazine.
His caution is correct:
If we’ve learned anything from the past five years, it’s that the media, the Democratic Senators, the think-tank experts and large numbers of other fast-molting hawks are on board only until the first setback, or the first “atrocity."
Has ninme accidentally hit on an effective Iraq exit strategy for Obama? He just has to get Time magazine to urge victory, and all the hawks would have to rethink the whole matter.
