Note to Sherlock writers on both sides of The Big Pond: no one wants to see the maddeningly brilliant but cold and sociopathic Sherlock Holmes "grow" as a person.
(Haven't seen the final episode of this season's Sherlock yet, but episode 2 was troubling. And Elementary? No. Stop that.)
